Textiles • Art • Leathers
My obsession with painted leathers began in the 1980s, when I received a Schott NYC leather Ramones jacket for my first outing to CBGB in the East Village in Manhattan. Now, as an artist, I love collecting traditional and vegan leather goods to imbue with whatever imagery, music, poetry, color, and energy that settles into my heart and soul when I sit down at my work table with each piece. No matter what I might have planned, the designs seem to appear as an homage to the muse of the day. Each one becomes my new favorite. I hope you’ll find your new favorite as I share this ever-evolving menagerie of art and fashion.
